Wednesday’s POMSOX trading session was quiet as both stock indices gained. The Kina Securities main index KSi was 0.39 points or 0.01% to 4,879.75 points and likewise the Kina Securities Home Index KSHi climbed 11.81 points or 0.11% to 11,059.93 points.
The leading stock in market capitalization, Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) added a toea to close higher at K9.51.
Meanwhile, Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) was maintained at K1.78.
A volume of 6,003 shares were traded at a value of K17,155.35.
In other news, U.S stocks closed lower for second session as the consumer- discretionary and industrial sectors weighed on the market as the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 47.81 points or 0.23% to 21,136.23 points. Japanese stocks fell as investors continued to shun riskier assets ahead of potentially market moving global events this week. The Nikkei share average dropped 0.2% to 19,931.43 points. The Australian market closed lower on the back of losses on Wall Street overnight as stocks remained well below the flat-line until close as the S&P/ASX 200 benchmark index fell 87.40 points or 1.52% to 5,667.50 points.
