Kina Securities stock indices ended flat on Wednesday after POMSOX trading closed on moderate volume. The Main index KSi remained steady at 3,553.48 points while the Home Index KSHi stayed at 9,744.14 points.

Junior exploration stocks Marengo Mining Ltd (MMC) and Highlands Pacific Ltd (HIG) closed at 4toea and 14toea flat respectively. Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and the portfolio management stock Kina Asset Management Ltd (KAM) traded at K7.35 and K1.00 even respectively. Oil Search Ltd (OSH) ended trades at K16.00 in thin volume.
There were 37,151 shares traded today at a share value of K35,980.78.
U.S stocks declined for the second straight day on Tuesday, with Dow Industrials losing more than 100 points as investors contended of better-than-expected economic reports. The Average dropped 104.90 points or 0.58% to 18,011.14 points. The Nikkei edged up 28.49 points or 0.14% ending at 19,741.94 points, as investors loading up on stock before ex-dividend later this week with limited gains. The Australian ASX was flat as gains by the country’s big banks were offset by weakness in most other sectors. At the close, the S&P/ASX 200 edged up 4.23 points or 0.07% to 5,973.32 points.
