The POMSOX trading session gained little grounds on Wednesday. The Kina Securities main index KSi was up 0.55 points or 0.02% to 3,575.65 points meanwhile the Home Index KSHi maintained at 9,579.21 points.
There were four stocks traded with no other movements for today’s session.
The positive movement in the main index was attributable by Kina Securities Ltd which added 5toea to close at K2.65.
Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) were both completed at K7.35 and K2.40 even respectively. Meanwhile Oil Search Ltd (OSH) closed flat at K16.00 unchanged.
U.S stock futures fell sharply in early trading on Wednesday in the wake of weak China data as the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 179.72 points or 1.09% to 16,330.47 points. Japan’s stock market was closed for a consecutive session to commemorate National Public Holiday of Equinox autumn season. The Australian share market slumped more than 2 per cent, dropping below the 5,000-point level on very weak Chinese manufacturing data. Benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 was down 105.45 points or 2.07% to 4,998.10 points.
