Both stock indices were maintained amid moderate trading on Wednesday’s POMSOX session. The Kina Securities main index KSi was flat 4,983.11 points similarly the Kina Securities Home Index KSHi was unchanged at 11,001.75 points.
Financial stocks Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) were both evened out at K9.55 and K1.70 flat respectively. Followed by BSP unsecured notes (BSPHA), which was maintained at K25,000.00
A volume of 18,107 shares were recorded, valued at K790,071.85.
The Dow managed to eke out a third day of gains, but overall main benchmarks ended little changed amid better-than-expected retail sales data. The DJIA finished up 5.28 points or less than 0.1% at 21,998.99 points. Japanese stocks closed nearly flat as investors stayed on the sidelines after sharp gains on the previous day, with the Nikkei flat at 19,742.10 points, up by a mere 11.21 points or 0.06%. The Australian stock market extended gains from the previous session following the positive lead overnight as concerns over North Korea faded. The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index rose 42.60 points or .74% to 5,773.00 points.
