A leading financial stock in terms of market capitalization Bank South Pacific (BSP) ended at K7.40 flat followed by Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) at K2.55. Oil Search Ltd (OSH) maintained at K16.00.
The day’s trading recorded a total of 8,249 units valued at K47,987.95.
U.S stocks ended Tuesday’s choppy session flat after main indexes gave up earlier gains. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2.51 points or 0.01% to 17,764.04 points. The Nikkei share average declined 24.93 points or 0.12% to 20,071.37 points as Japanese stocks fell to a three-week low after the Bank of Japan Governor stated that the yen was not likely to weaken much further. The Australian share market was flat, giving investors some hope after six consecutive days of losses. The benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 closed at 5,478.63 , up 7.79 points or +0.13% today.
