A leading oil and gas company Oil Search Ltd (OSH) gained 2 toea at K17.70 at the close of market.
Meanwhile, a financial institution Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) remained unchanged at K2.70 today.
There was one trade registered for Bank South Pacific Ltd debit notes (BSPHA) at K26,500, down K1,500.
Today’s trade registered 9,448 shares valued at Kina worth of K12,702.10.
U.S stocks ended with small gains rebounding from three straight sessions of heavy selling despite choppy trades throughout the Tuesday session as renewed tensions in the Ukraine weighed on global markets. The Dow Jones Industrial average added 10.27 points ending at 16,256.14 points. On Wednesday, Asian stocks outside Japan rose as consumer companies advanced. Japan’s Nikkei share average led lower on Yen’s surge. At 14,313 points. The index closed down 307 points or 2.10%. In Australia, the S&P/ASX 200 index advanced, climbing 53.17 points or 0.98% to close at 5,463.80 points today following the New York’s bounce.
