Tuesday’s POMSOX trading session closed flat as both stock indices evened out during thin trading. The Kina Securities main index KSi was unchanged at 5,096.70 points and similarly the Kina Securities Home index KSHi was steady at 11,101.83 points.
Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) both evened out at K9.54 and K1.80 flat respectively.
Followed by Oil Search Ltd (OSH) which was unmoved at K18.00.
The day’s trading recorded a volume of 11,170 units valued at K30,709.98.
In markets abroad, U.S markets finished higher as tech stocks gained and after industrial stocks rallied on news of a U.S arms deal with Saudi Arabia. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 89.99 points or 0.43% to close higher at 20,894.83 points. Japanese stocks were flat as a risk-averse mood kept investors sidelined following an Manchester blast and airline explosion as the Nikkei share average slipped 65.00 points or 0.33% to 19,613.28 points. The Australian stock market was flat in choppy trade following the overnight gains on Wall Street as the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 lost 3.70 points 0.06% to 5,767.50 points.
