POMSoX was quiet on Tuesday having registered a few trades showing stable performance. The Kina Securities main index, the KSi was unchanged at 4,815.68 points. Meanwhile, the Home index, the KSHi, was also flat at 10,641.78 points.
There were two stocks traded today without any change to their closing prices, Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) remained at K9.00 followed by Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) which maintained at K1.90.
The day’s trading recorded a total of 18,056 shares valued at K117,681.70.
U.S. stocks advanced tepidly in overnight trading Monday with investors somewhat reluctant to make big bets in a preholiday week while the main benchmarks were sitting near all-time highs set last week. The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished up 39.65 points, or 0.2%, at 19,883.06 points. Japan’s Nikkei share average rose on Tuesday after the market digested BOJ’s decision to maintain current monetary policy, while the overall sentiment was lifted. The Nikkei gained 102.93 points or 0.53% to 19,494.53 points. The Australian market opened higher on the back of a positive lead on Wall Street overnight with mixed results from the sectors. The S&P/ASX 200 added 29.00 points or 0.59% to 5,591.10 points.
