Tuesday’s POMSOX session closed flat as both stock indices remained unchanged. The Kina Securities Main index KSi was maintained at 5,466.85 and likewise the Kina Securities Home Index KSHi was evened out at 10,917.38 points.
Banking and financial stock Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) was flat at K9.50m followed closely by Dual-listed energy stock Oil Search Ltd (OSH) unmoved at K18.01.
Meanwhile, BSP Unsecured notes (BSPHA) was traded unchanged at K25,000.00 flat.
The market closed with a total volume of 109,997 shares at a monetary value of K1,548,606.59.
In overseas news, Wall Street closed moderately in the green with the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 140 points or 0.6% to 24,792 on rising expectations that Congress will pass this week the tax bill expected to cut the corporate tax rate to 21% from 35%. Meanwhile, the Asian market sees Japan’s NIKKEI 225 declined at 8 points or 0.03% to 22,896 from 22,911. The Australian benchmark S&P/ASX 200 increased 33 points or 0.54% to 6,072 from 6,039 in the previous trading.
