Tuesday’s POMSOX trading session was unchanged amid a rather quiet session as both stock indices remained. The Kina Securities Home Index KSHi was steady at 4,794.63 points and similarly the Kina Securities Home Index was maintained at 10,635.11 points.
Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) was the only stock traded, registering 200 units valued at K1,800.00 at the close of market.
In markets abroad, U.S stocks rallied booking the best history-making as the Dow Jones Industrial Average, up 2.1% to 18,259.60 points. Japan’s Nikkei share average ended little changed in choppy trade ahead of U.S elections as the benchmark Nikkei shed 5.83 points or 0.03% to 17,171.38 points. The Australian market started strong on the back of an overnight rally in the US market. However, dipped into the red amid mixed results. The S&P/ASX 200 benchmark index was gained 7.00 points or 0.13% to 5,257.80 points.
