POMSOX trading session ended on a moderate activity as both Kina Securities Indices gained grounds. The main index KSi rose 22.35 points or 0.65% to 3,477.30 points. Likewise, the Home Index or KSHi climbed 99.93 points or 1.04% to 9,681.77 points.
Two out four stocks gained compared to none that fell.
Financial stock Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) added 15toea to end at K2.55. the other gainer, Oil Search Ltd (OSH) ended at K15.00, up 19toea. Bothe stocks contributed positively on the indices.
Meanwhile, stocks traded however remained unchanged were Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and Kina Asset Management Ltd (KAM) at K7.35 and 97toea flat respectively. Kina securities Ltd(KSL) was traded at K2.60. In ASX, the dual-listed stock closed at $1.10, down 5c.
Total shares registered today were 22,297 units at value of K78,788.82.
In overseas, the Dow Average extended lead on the Friday rally, with 304.06 points or 1.85% advancing at 16,776.43 points. In Japan, the Nikkei share average rose to a 2-1/2 week high as expectations of US Feds will wait longer to raise interest rates. The Index was up 170.33 points or 0.95% to 18,175.82 points. The Australian shares broadly gained, also on hopes of delay with the Feds Outlook in rate increase. At the close, the S&P/ASX 200 index inched 16.87 points or 0.33% to 5,167.40 points.
