On the winning streak, Kina Securities Ltd (KSL) gained 10toea to close higher at K2.60.
Meanwhile, Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) was maintained at K9.60 at the close followed by BSPHA Unsecured notes (BSPHA) which ended flat at K25, 000.00.
The day’s trading session recorded a thin volume of 11,283 shares worth K1, 564,916.80.
U.S stock market indexes closed higher in overnight trading with the benchmark S&P 500 posting gains for a fourth straight session after a pair of strong economic reports. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 37.00 points or 0.17% to 21,908.00 points. Japan’s Nikkei rose to two-week highs after the dollar rose against the yen, gaining 139.70 points or 0.72% higher to 19,646.24 points. Australian stock market gained after overnight gains on better-than-expected economic growth and private jobs data, offsetting weaknesses in gold producers and oil stocks. The S&P/ASX 200 benchmark index climbed 18.50 points or 0.33% to close at 5,688.20 points.
