Both Kina Securities Stock indices ended lower on the POMSOX trading session. The Kina Securities main index or KSi shed 0.53 points or 0.01% at 4,769.56 points. Similarly, the Kina Securities Home index, KSHi slipped 17.07 points or 0.16% at 10,641.73 points.
Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) attributed to the negative movement for both indices as the stock shed 2toea to close lower at K8.95.
Meanwhile, Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) was traded unmoved at K1.90 at the close.
Thursday’s POMSOX trading session traded a total of 41,893 units at a monetary value of K95,566.42.
In markets offshore, U.S stocks finished mostly higher after minutes from the Fed’s September policy meeting showing support for a rate rise as the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 15.54 points or 0.1% at 18,144.20 points. Japan’s Nikkei share average gave up early gains and slipped as the yen clawed back ground it had lost to the dollar. The Nikkei slipped 95.35 points or 0.57% at 16,744.65 points. The local opened lower today on the back of losses on Wall Street overnight as the benchmark fell 39.10 points 0.71% to 5,435.50 points.
