U.S stocks closed slightly lower on Wednesday, following a sell-off in the previous session rising dollar and growing expectations of a Fed rate hike saw the Dow Jones post its biggest drop in five months. The DJIA fell 27.55 points or 0.16% to 17,635.39 points. The Nikkei posted its biggest daily gain in a month as investors chased the market higher before futures settlement. Japan’s Nikkei surged 267.59 points or 1.43% to 18,991.11 points. Australian shares recovered losses with biggest gain in months as the market surged on upbeat jobs data. The S&P/ASX 200 rose 57 points or 1.44% to 5,850.20 points at the close of market.
