The Kina Securities Indices both gained grounds on Thursday’s POMSOX trading session. The Kina Securities main index KSi was up by 1.44 points or 0.44% to 3,650.72 points and likewise the Kina Securities Home Index KSHi ended higher by 9.20 points or 0.09% to 9,781.29 points.

Winning stock for the day was Oil Search Ltd (OSH), adding a toea to close high at K17.01. On the other hand, Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) closed higher at K7.42, up by 2toea.
Cum retail stock City Pharmacy Ltd (CPL) closed at K1.39, down by 1toea.
Today’s trading session recorded 7,747 shares worth K58,653.21.
In New York, U.S stocks declined for a second consecutive session on Wednesday, sending the S&P 500 to its lowest level in two weeks. The Dow Jones Industrial slumped 106.47 points or 0.58% to 18,096.90 points. Japanese shares rose after the BOJ bought more exchange traded funds, but gains were limited by investor caution ahead of U.S jobs data on Friday. The Nikkei share average edged up 48.24 points or 0.26% to 18,751.84 points.
Australian shares wiped off early losses to finish mostly flat today after falling for two straight sessions, helped by a late rally in consumer staples while miners continued to be laggards on the index. S&P/ASX 200 benchmark index closed 2.61 points down or 0.04% to 5,904.20 points.
