In New York, U.S stocks suffered in overnight trading as the stocks begin the fourth quarter on a down note after disappointing Eurozone and U.S manufacturing data. The Dow Jones Industrial Jones Average slipped 238.19 points or 1.40% at 16,804.71 points. Asian markets were subdued as investors booked profits in Japan amid concerns over the end of the Fed’s stimulatory bond-buying program. The Nikkei share average dropped 420 points or 2.61% to 15,662. The S&P/ASX200 shed 36.43 points or 0.68% at 5,297.70 as Australian shares also headed lower following weak Wall Street.
