Both Kina Securities Indices were unchanged amid quiet trading on POMSOX for the last trading day of November. The main index or KSi was steady at 3,565.23 points, similarly, the home index or KSHi was unmoved at 9,647.90 points at the close.
There were four stocks traded however remained flat.
Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) led the unchanged at K2.30 followed by Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and Kina Securities Ltd (KSL) registering at K7.50 and K2.70 even respectively. Oil Search Ltd (OSH) closed flat at K16.01.
Monday’s session recorded a light volume of 29,876 shares at a value of K103,055.20.
U.S stocks finished little changed amid thin volumes following the Thanksgiving holiday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was off 14.90 points or 0.08% lower to 17,798.49 points. Japanese shares fell on Monday morning as investors awaited key global policy and data events this week, while its’ industrial production data failed. Japan’s Nikkei share average was down 127.16 points or 0.64% to 19,756.78 points. Australian share market traded flat on the last day of the month following minimal leads from overseas markets. China’s economic slowdown weighs on prices for industrial metals such as copper, nickel and zinc, therefore, the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 was 36.08 points or 0.69% lower to 5,166.50 points.
