POMSOX stocks opened the week’s trading in a quiet note. At the close, the Kina Securities main index or KSi was unchanged at 3,897.45 points. The home index or the KSHi also remained at 8,188.90 points.
City Pharmacy Ltd (CPL) maintained at K1.90 flat while a major financial company Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) traded at K2.50.
Meanwhile, Bank South Pacific (BSP) ended at K8.02 and NGIP Agmark Ltd (NGP) was 85 toea.
Today’s trading registered a total volume of 10,119 shares at a value worth of K26,973.06.
In the overseas market, stocks closed higher on Friday as most major indices recorded their peaks last week on stimulus growth. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 61.07 points or 0.39% ending at 15,570.30 points. Japan’s Nikkei surged on wall street lead, up 307.85 points or 2.19% today at 14,396.00 points. S&P/ASX200 of ASX advanced 55.05 points, or 1.02% closing at 5,441.40 points, led by banks and resources as the Australian dollar strengthened on speculation of stimulus by central banks.
