Only two stocks traded flat today.
Banking and financial stocks Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) were both unmoved at K7.50 and K1.50 even respectively.
The day’s session recorded a total of 7,094 shares valued at a worth of K13,110.19.
In overseas news, U.S stocks gained in overnight trading as the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 21.23 points or 0.12% to 18,003.75 points. Japanese stocks fell as investors cashed in profits from a four-day rally that last week lifted the benchmark index to an 11-1/2 week high amid rising expectations of further central bank easing. The Nikkei share average slumped 156.07 points or 0.89% to 17,416.42 points. The Australian stock market was closed today to commemorate the ANZAC Day.
