Monday’s POMSOX trading session closed unchanged amid thin trading as both stock indices were maintained. The Kina Securities main index KSi was maintained at 4,929.96 points and likewise the Kina Securities Home Index KSHi was steady at 11,073.93 points.
Kina Securities Ltd (KSL) was the only stock traded unchanged today, closing flat at K2.60 with a recorded volume of 1,884 units worth K4,898.40 points.
U.S markets ended in the red in overnight trading but off their lows as Trump pledged to reveal huge tax package cuts to reinforce his commitment to tax reform and deregulation. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 30.95 points or 0.15% at 20,547.76 points. Japan’s Nikkei share average touched a near three-week high with broader investor risk sentiment improving by 1.37% or 255.13 points to 18,875.88 points. The Australian stock market advanced for a third straight day as the first-round results of the French presidential elections came in on expected lines as the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 rose 36.70 points or 0.63% to 5,89.80 points.
