Both Kina Securities Stock Indices were unchanged amid a quiet trading session. The Kina Securities main index or KSi was steady at 4,747.38 points and likewise the Kina Securities Home was maintained at 10,202.35 points.
Home-listed financial stock Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) was the only stock trading unmoved today. The stock closed at K1.68 flat, registering a light volume of 1,190 shares valued at K1,999.20
U.S stocks finished lower and flat for the week as investors pondered the possibility of a rate hike. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 37 points or 0.20% to 18,500 points. Japanese stocks edged up but gains were limited as investors were cautiously focused on the global central bankers meeting this week as the Feds might provide insight on the rate outlook. The Nikkei share average rose 52.37 points or 0.32% at 16,598.19 points. The Australian share market was flat amid mixed company profit results and in the wake of Wall Street’s lead. The benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 was up 1.9 points or 0.03% at 5,528.6 points.
