The Agricultural holding company New Britain Palm Oil (NBO) led the advance by closing 58 toea higher on the market, ending at K15.58.
The Nation’s leading financial institution Bank South Pacific (BSP) completed at 3 Toea higher at K8.03.
Marengo Mining Limited (MMC) closed unchanged at 21 Toea.
Monday’s trading registered a total of 10,872 shares at a value of K12,760.28
In the overseas market, U.S stocks improved by climbing on Friday with the Dow Jones Industrial Average closing at 111.04 points or 0.73% higher ending the market at 15,237.10 points. Asian stocks generally advanced today, despite unexpected drop in exports from China and the threat of default by U.S Treasury. The Nikkei surged 210.03 points (+1.48%) closing at 14,404.70 points. The S&P/ASX 200 slipped 23.01 points lower ending at 5,207.86 points .
