Friday’s POMSOX trading session was unchanged amid an active session as both stock indices were maintained. The Kina Securities main index KSi was steady at 4,983.11 points and similarly the Kina Securities Home Index KSHi was flat at 11,001.75 points.
Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) was the only stock traded, flat at K9.55 with a recorded substantial volume of 176,000 units worth K1,680,800.00.
In overnight trading, U.S stock market indexes closed slightly lower after spending most of the session without clear direction as investors focused on a symposium of central bankers in Wyoming. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 28.69 points or 0.13% with 21,783.40 points. Japan’s Nikkei share average rose as the dollar was steady against the yen. The Nikkei rose 106.23 points or 0.55% 19,460.00 points. The Australian stock market declined as the S&P/ASX 200 benchmark index declined 16.10 points or 0.28% to 5,729.30 points.
