Friday’s POMSOX trading session was unchanged as both stock indices were maintained. The Kina Securities main index KSi was unmoved at 5, 628.24 points and similarly the Kina Securities Home Index KSHi was steady at 10, 917.38 points.

In off-shore market news, all three main U.S stock-market benchmarks closed at records on Friday and booked weekly gains on tax-cut optimism as the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 143.08 points or 0.6% to finish at 24, 651.74 points. Japanese stocks fell to their lowest in more than a week with mobile firms extended a sell-off on concerns of increased competition. The Nikkei share average declined 0.6% to 22,553.22 points. A relatively upbeat week for the ASX ended on a sour note as banks capped a tough week with more losses. The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index ended down 14 points or 0.2% at 5, 997 points.
