Both Kina Securities stock indices retreated after POMSoX closed for Friday, weakened by a home stock that fell. The main index KSi slipped 1.45 points or 0.04% to 3,601.82 points. Likewise, the home index KSHi closed 26.53 points (-0.27%) lower to finish at 9,772.09 points.
Only one stock fell with none that gained for the session, that also saw a debenture stock traded but closed K50.00 lower. The retreat did not cause any fallout on both Kina Indices as it is not included among the Indices’ components.
Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) was the stock retreating 5 toea to end at K7.40 resulting in both indices to close in red.
Stocks traded however remained unchanged were Marengo Mining Ltd (MMC) at 4 toea even and Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) at K2.60 flat despite some buyback done at K2.70. Oil Search Ltd (OSH) ended at K17.00 flat followed by a junior cap miners Marengo Mining Ltd (MMC) and Kina Petroleum Ltd (KPL) unchanged at 4 toea and 75 toea respectively.
BSP Unsecured notes (BSPHA) had closed K25,500.00 down by K500.00.
Friday’s trading recorded a total volume of 155,675 shares valued at K161,406.70.
