Both stock indices closed positively on Friday’s POMSOX trading session. The Kina Securities Main Index KSi was up 1.27 points or 0.03% to 4,775.67 points and likewise the Kina Securities Home Index KSHi gained 39.98 points or 0.38% to 10,675.09 points.
Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) was the sole winner, closing up 6toea to end higher at K1.95.
Meanwhile, Kina Securities Ltd was evened out at K2.70 flat.
The day’s trading session recorded a substantial volume of 104,729 shares valued at K205,014.30.
U.S stocks rallied to a record close, gaining 218.19 points or 1.2% to finish at 18,807.88 points. Japan’s Nikkei rose to a nine-month peak led by financials taking up from rising yields, boosted after U.S shares soared on hopes of Trump’s polices could boost growth. The Nikkei share average climbed 17.52 points or 0.10% 17,361.94 points. The Australian stock market advanced, extending gains from the previous session reflected investor optimism on economic policies could stimulate the U.S economy. The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 added 21.30 points or 0.40% to 5,350.10 points.
