Both Kina Securities stock indices remained unchanged amid a quiet trading session on Friday. The main index or KSI was unmoved at 3,460.95 points. Similarly, the Kina Securities Home Index KSHi remained steady at 9,711.13 points.
All three stocks traded today were unchanged.
Financial stocks Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) evened out at K7.40 and K2.50 respectively. Dual-listed mining stock Oil Search Ltd (OSH) closed flat at K14.80 and also ended at $6.85 on ASX.
Friday’s trades recorded a total of 7,961 shares at a monetary value of K65,260.90.
U.S stocks finished lower in overnight trading testing technical levels in a volatile trading session as media stocks suffered a big hit and investors awaited and watched jobs report. The Dow Jones Industrial average slumped 120.72 points or 0.69% to 17,419.75 points. Japanese stocks edged higher on Friday as investors took profits from recently gainers ahead of US data. The Nikkei share average added 60.12 points or 0.29% to 20,724.56 points. Australian share market was notably lower as banking stocks extended losses into a second straight session. S&P/ASX 200 benchmark index dipped 123.80 points or 2.21 % to 5,486.30 points today.
