Friday’s POMSOX trading session saw both stock indices closing lower attributed by a major financial home-listed stock. The Kina Securities main index KSi was down 3.14 points or 0.07% to 4,743.69 points, similarly the Kina Securities Home Index KSHi slumped 99.48 points or 0.93% to 10,634.14 points.
Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) was the only stock traded, slipped 10toea to end lower at K9.00, registering a total of 6,142 shares valued at K55,278.00.
U.S stocks closed lower in overnight as the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell for a sixth straight day, declining 28.97 points or 0.2% to close at 17,930.67 points. Japan’s Nikkei average fell to 2 ½ week low on after major stocks like automakers stumbled and uncertainty over U.S election. The Nikkei was down at 16,905.36 points. The Australian stock market declined on Friday following negative lead from Wall Street amid U.S presidential election and the fall in crude oil prices. The S&P/ASX 200 benchmark declined 33.40 points or 0.64% to 5,192.20 points.
