Both Kina Securities Indices were unchanged on POMSoX Friday with better than average trading volume . The main index or KSi was steady at 3,459.61points. The home index or KSHi was unchanged at 9,729.59 points.
There were two key stocks traded but both closed flat today.
Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) crossed at K2.60, with Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) steady at K7.50 amid a large trading volume, the stock will go ex-dividend on Monday, 5 October 2015. Kina Securitas Ltd (KSL) closed at $1.15 on ASX, up a cent. On POMSoX, it was not traded and remained at K2.60.
The day’s trading recorded a substantial volume of 2,015,280 shares at value of K15,041,430.30.
U.S. stocks finished the first day of October and the fourth quarter mixed as concerns about global growth and its impact on U.S. economic health ahead of Jobs data to be released on Friday. The Dow slid 12.69 points to finish at 16,272.01 points. The Nikkei share average was slightly lower by 6.06 Points or 17,725.98 points as Japanese stocks remained basically flat amid profit-taking as investors looked ahead to a key U.S. jobs report. The Australian share market is slightly lower with all four big banks down. The S&P/ASX200 index declined 57.50 points or 1.12% at 5,054.60 points by close of market today.
